Life has a curious way of playing out. This weekend my Father was inducted into the Arm Wrestling Hall of Fame. He found a way to balance chasing his dreams with family life while my Mother was always there to cheer us on.

Five years ago I began the journey of completing ‘Every Night Has A Dawn’, I rekindled my love for writing, a passion that had been waiting quietly in the wings. With a rejuvenated spirit, I found the courage to share my words with the world, embarking on an author’s journey in my 40s.

This new chapter isn’t about seeking fame or accolades; it’s about the bravery to express myself and to embrace new beginnings, regardless of the time on life’s grand clock. To have others relate to some of the challenges I’ve faced that have inspired my writing.

Each day, I embrace the uncertainty with a newfound confidence, celebrating the bravery in every small step I take. These moments aren’t just chapters in my book; they’re testaments to the power of chasing dreams, at any age.

So here’s to my amazing parents who set a remarkable example and supported me along the way. The love and encouragement of my family helped me reignite my inner spark and step into a new venture with a heart full of dreams.

Remember, it’s never too late to pursue what sets your soul on fire.
