Every Night Has A Dawn Wins Prestigious Award for Historical Fiction

Have You Ever Been Sent a Hug from Heaven?

Have you ever had one of those moments where it feels like the universe is wrapping you in a warm hug? Recently, I had one of those moments, and it left me feeling incredibly grateful and humbled, and I’ll tell you why.

I’m thrilled to share that Every Night Has a Dawn, my debut novel, has won the Regal Summit Award! 🏆 This recognition feels like a hug from heaven, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this journey with you. What makes this even more special is that I received this honor on the 6th anniversary of my grandmother’s passing. It truly feels like a hug from her, reminding me that she’s watching over and cheering me on from above.

Writing ‘Every Night Has a Dawn‘ was a labor of love. It’s a story that takes you on a journey through the life of Dawn, a young girl growing up during the 1930s to the 1960s. Her family, traveling farm workers, faces immense hardships, yet Dawn’s resilience and spirit shine through the darkest times. From the fields of Oklahoma to the Makah reservation in Neah Bay, Washington, Dawn’s story is one of love, survival, and transformation. She finds solace, motherhood, and ultimately, a brighter future despite the challenges thrown her way.

Winning this award feels like a beautiful affirmation of Dawn’s journey and all the hard work that went into bringing her story to life. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the universe sends us little signs to keep us going, to let us know we’re on the right path.

If you haven’t had a chance to read ‘Every Night Has a Dawn‘ yet, I’d love for you to join Dawn on her journey. It’s a story that will take you through the ups and downs of life, love, and everything in between. And who knows, maybe it will feel like a hug from heaven for you too.

Sending you all virtual hugs and heartfelt gratitude! 💖
