Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how wild this past year has been? I mean, seriously, this time last year, I was in the thick of dreaming and hustling, just hoping to get my first novel out into the world. And now—well, here I am, reflecting on the incredible journey that’s unfolded since then, and I have to pinch myself to believe it’s all real.

Let me rewind for a second. A year ago, I was pouring my heart and soul into writing, editing, and rewriting (and let’s be real—crying over) my debut novel. I had big dreams for it, but like any first-time author, I had my doubts. Would anyone read it? Would it resonate with readers the way it did with me? And most of all, could I actually make a career out of this passion?

Fast forward to today, and not only is my first novel published, but it’s also gone on to win the Regal Summit Book Award for Historical Fiction! Cue the happy dance. 🙌 It was also a finalist for Best Debut in the American Writing Awards, and if that wasn’t enough to make my heart explode, it’s now a finalist for Best Cover and Reader’s Choice in the Kindle Book Awards.

You guys, I’m floored. Humbled. Grateful beyond words. This journey has been nothing short of miraculous, and I’m so excited for what’s still to come—because guess what? My third novel, Twilight’s Brightest Star, is set to release this November! 🎉

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this whirlwind of a year, it’s that when you truly commit to your passion—when you show up every day, even when it’s hard, even when you’re filled with doubt—amazing things can happen. It’s easy to think that success is some distant dream, but I’m here to tell you that with determination, perseverance, and a whole lot of heart, you can achieve more in a year than you ever thought possible.

But let’s be real for a second. None of this would have been possible without YOU. The readers, the cheerleaders, the people who believed in me even on days when I struggled to believe in myself. Your support has meant the world to me, and I want you to know that every kind word, every review, every share has fueled this journey. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

As I gear up to launch my next novel, I’m filled with excitement and gratitude. I can’t wait to share it with you all and continue this incredible adventure together. So here’s to following your dreams, pushing through the challenges, and celebrating every single win—big or small. You’ve got this, and I’m right there with you.
